Launched in 2024, Shaping Sustainable Futures is our latest programme, designed to inspire young people who are living in social housing or attending regular youth groups to work together to tackle environmental actions in their communities.
By joining the programme young people will try new things such as archery and forest activities and build new skills while learning about opportunities in the green sector and making connections with potential employers.
The programme was designed following a consultation with a number of leading housing associations, which highlighted their desire to better engage with and create opportunities for their young residents.
Thanks to funding from Centrica’s Energy for Tomorrow fund, we are able to offer this 3-day residential opportunity for your young people, completely free of charge! This includes all accommodation, meals and activities.
