What is your job title?
I work as the Administration and Events Assistant at NCRC Trafford Hall.
What does your everyday role consist of?
Each day is different although I largely support the team with administrative tasks such as data management and general planning. As part of my responsibilities, I also carry out tasks to aid the planning of our Energy Plus Academy, Housing Plus Academy and Family Future events.
It is great to work for an organisation like NCRC at Trafford Hall who transform communities and bring people together to find solutions for change.
How long is your placement for?
My placement is via The Learning Foundry, and it is a 6-month placement working 4 days a week.
How would you describe your Kickstart placement with NCRC at Trafford Hall?
The support I have received from the team has been great! My placement has enabled me to progress further in my professional development, since starting I have learnt the art of being responsible for my own work. Overall, I’ve had an amazing time so far and enjoyed every minute of my time with the company.
What would you say to others interested in doing a Kickstart placement?
They are an amazing way to get your foot in the door and help you develop yourself both personally and professionally. I would certainly recommend it and say to always keep an eye out for what opportunities are out there!
