Housing Plus Academy Online Workshop

Wednesday 12th May 2021, 10am-12pm
Zoom

We still have a few places left at our online workshop on the 12th May exploring the role of social landlords in providing private and intermediate market renting. We are keen to get representatives from as many social landlords as possible to help generate an interesting and informative discussion, so please share this invite with anyone you think may be interested.

Social landlords are increasingly diversifying their rental offer and are now proving homes at market and intermediate market rent. The workshop will explore why social landlords are providing private rent housing, the different rental offers available, and how this is helping to tackle the housing crisis by providing homes for a wider demographic.

The Housing Plus Academy is a partnership between LSE Housing and Communities, The National Communities Resource Centre at Trafford Hall, the National Housing Federation, the Chartered Institute of Housing, and many leading housing associations. We work to promote knowledge exchange to uncover what is happening on the ground and in communities. Our workshops rely on are highly participatory, with participants contributing their ideas and experience during the session. We produce headline findings from our events, which we share with those attending the workshop, key policymakers, and the government.

This two-hour workshop will take place online, using Zoom. Below is the booking form and programme. Places are strictly limited so please book early. If you would like to book a place or have any questions, please contact Eleanor Benton (e.benton@lse.ac.uk).
