Shaping Sustainable Futures: 9th – 11th October

Our Shaping Sustainable Futures programme aims to give young people an introduction to the green sector, preparing for the jobs of the future. We’ll help them explore exciting job opportunities and learn how they can contribute to building sustainable communities.

Designed for 16-24-year-olds, these residentials are the perfect opportunity to engage with young people, to help them develop skills and knowledge to help our communities meet the challenge of environmental targets.

What to expect:

We help young people grow in confidence by challenging themselves to try something new, make new friends and find new skills. They’ll get stuck into:

Nature based activities – Archery, den building and campfires to name a few

Green skills – An introduction to the green sector and the skills needed to succeed

Career inspiration – Learning from people already working in the sector about their career journeys

Community impact – The opportunity to make a lasting impact in their community as they are supported to develop and deliver their own environmental action plan

Meals and accommodation included – Trafford Hall, a grade 2 listed building boasting impressive eco-credentials, is the perfect place to get inspired, relax and enjoy nature!

Why bring a group?

Our programme is a fantastic opportunity for you to boost engagement from young people and help them understand how their communities could change in the future. You’ll also be showing your organisations commitment to investing in them, helping them develop the skills and knowledge to progress in their chosen careers and create value in their communities.
